Cullipher Farm Strawberry Picking: Virginia Beach Guide

The History of Cullipher Farm in Virginia Beach

Cullipher Farm, located at 772 Princess Anne Road, is a scenic drive away from the beach that will bring you out into the countryside where agriculture thrives. This family-owned farm is operated sustainably, creating an experience that is not just about producing the best fruit and vegetables, additionally giving the community a chance to eat locally sourced food without the fear of consuming chemicals.

Strawberry Picking at Cullipher Farm: Prices and Experience

Ready to pick your own strawberries? Starting at $15 for 1/2 a gallon and $28 for a gallon, Cullipher Farm is ready to embrace happy hands getting a little dirty while grabbing some of the sweetest, sun-kissed berries you’ll ever eat! Not only am I convinced these are the sweetest strawberries I have ever eaten, but you will never go to your local grocery store again to buy strawberries…they’re THAT good!

This is the perfect place to let your children explore and have some fun filling their buckets, or if you’re looking for a sweet date spot, voilà!

Important Rules and Tips for Families:

If you have smaller children, strollers and bags are not permitted onto the fields. Afraid of all the bending that's required? You can purchase pre-plucked strawberries for the same price inside the local market, which also has homemade ice cream, a bakery, and more!

Beyond Strawberries: Seasonal Fun at Cullipher Farm

Not into strawberries? Cullipher Farm has a seasonal experience for everyone, so be sure to keep up with them and what's fresh on the farm (blueberries and peaches are next!). Let’s support our local farmers while still having fun!

Positively,

Marshé Harper
